My Approach

I have been cultivating my private practice in San Francisco over the past five years. I specialize in helping women find clarity, support and resources in the midst of change. Together we explore your underlying relationship to transition, develop strategies for coping with change and clarify your personal goals. My goal is to work collaboratively in helping you find freedom and fulfillment.

My mission is to bring my passion for service to my community. To do this, I combine mindfulness, skills building exercises and body awareness as a means to understand the experiences and beliefs that shape who you are as well as identify and build the strengths you already possess. Through this process you will learn how emotions can be a source of wisdom and inner guidance.

In addition to my clinical work at The Well, I provide therapy and teaching workshops for underserved youth at Burton High School in the San Francisco Unified School District through Richmond Area Multi Services (RAMS). I also lead workshops and trainings throughout San Francisco on a range of topics including: Rooting Down and Growing Up: A Workshop for Women In Transition; Anger Management; Yoga for Emotions; Working With Anxious Adolescents; and Yoga For Stress Reduction. I am greatly influenced by the Hakomi Method and will begin a formal training in September 2012.
