Harry’s interest in integrative medicine began in childhood.  Shortly after finishing undergraduate education at UC Santa Cruz, he completed a masters degree in traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture  at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine.  Subsequently Harry trained in ashtanga yoga and ayurvedic studies in Mysore India, making yearly visits to India for 10 years.  Still interested in a full spectrum approach to medicine, he completed a medical degree at the University of Arizona under mentorship with Dr. Andrew Weil.  Now completing his final year of residency in family medicine in the Bay Area, Dr. McIlroy brings a truly integrative orientation to health care.
