At The Well Clinic we offer insurance billing for medical treatments such as psychiatry and acupuncture only.  We do not offer insurance billing for counseling or other services at this time.  If you would like to use your insurance for counseling services, your provider can provide you with information that your health insurance company will need.  You can then submit a claim to your insurance company directly for patient direct reimbursement.  We suggest calling your insurance company in advance to inquire about coverage for the service you are looking for. If you are seeking counseling and you still want to use your insurance, ask your provider for a ‘superbill.’  A superbill is specialized invoice that will include procedure coding and diagnosis coding that your insurance carrier will need in order to reimburse you.
